Fisher & Paykel continues to grow with Women’s Golf in Australia

The Fisher & Paykel partnership with Golf Australia will continue to grow in 2008. Fisher & Paykel will again support the MFS Women’s Australian Open and will again offer women golfers in Australia the opportunity to be involved in the biggest women’s only golf tournament in Australia - The Fisher & Paykel Classic.

The Fisher & Paykel Classic is an event endorsed by Golf Australia and invites all amateur lady golfers in Australia to participate. Winners of local club events have the opportunity to qualify for the State Finals and then progress to the Fisher & Paykel Classic National Final.

Players who progress to the National Final will be provided with an all expenses paid trip. The National Final will be staged as a prelude to the 2009 MFS Women’s Australian Open. A club representative from the National Finalists club will also be invited to attend.

The Lady Captain at each Golf Club in Australia will receive an information pack regarding the 2008 Fisher & Paykel Classic. Alternatively you can refer to the Club Registration page to find out all the information and how to register your club for the event.

The 2007 Fisher & Paykel was again an enormous success with more than 610 clubs and over 27,000 individuals participating. Together with your support, we would like to see the 2008 Fisher & Paykel Classic continue to grow and we look forward to your involvement.
