Latest News2008 Fisher & Paykel Classic State Finalists Announced.The Fisher & Paykel Classic is pleased to announce the following venues and dates for the 2008 State Finals have now been confirmed.
Fisher & Paykel would like to thank the host clubs of the State Finals for their support of the tournament. 2008 Fisher & Paykel Classic Open to all !The 2008 Fisher & Paykel Classic is now in full swing, with nearly 500 Golf Clubs around the country registered to stage an event. If you would like to be part of a group of over 21,000 ladies participating in Australia's largest, women's only, amateur golf event, click on the Participating-Clubs link and see if your club is involved. Any golf club in Australia can stage a qualifying event of the Fisher and Paykel Classic. All women members are entitled to participate in qualifying events for their chance to progress to the state finals being played at some of the most prestigious courses around Australia. Your club could be one of the lucky winners of one of 120 Fisher & Paykel products that are up for grabs.
Simply complete the two steps below and your club could win: 1) Complete the Event Confirmation Form and fax it back to the Fisher & Paykel Tournament Office by Monday June 30th. 2) Send in your results sheet by Thursday October 2nd. Get your club involved in the Fisher & Paykel Classic and support a sponsor who is helping put women's golf in Australia back on the map. 2008 Fisher & Paykel Classic Open to all ! We are pleased to invite you to participate in this year's Fisher & Paykel Classic. Golf Australia and Fisher & Paykel are continuing their successful partnership, which sees the Classic enter its third consecutive year.
Last year, the Fisher & Paykel Classic saw more than 600 clubs and over 27,000 individual players participate nationally. The Final culminated in Melbourne during the week of the 2008 MFS Women's Australian Open. Any golf club in Australia can stage a club qualifying event in the Fisher & Paykel Classic. All women members are entitled to participate. The Classic is played as a single stableford competition and can be part of the club's already established calendar. Every golf club in Australia has the opportunity to win one of 120 Fisher & Paykel products. Interested in participating ? Obtain the Club Captain Information Pack from the Club Registration page and then simply… - Choose a date on your existing golf calendar between Tuesday 1 April and Tuesday 30 September 2008 when your lady members can play a single stableford event. - Fax back your event confirmation sheet to register your club's Fisher & Paykel Classic event date. Alternatively, within the coming weeks, you will receive an information kit in the mail detailing how to register for the Fisher & Paykel Classic. Get involved in the Fisher & Paykel Classic and support a sponsor who is helping to put women's golf in Australia back on the map.
