It's so easy to use and it's so easy to keep clean
I love my ceramic cooktop. It's heat distribution is fabulous. My husband cooks the best yellow fish curry on this appliance. I didn't have to buy new pots & pans and the temperature controls are spot on and it blends into my granite benchtops beautifully.
I am looking forward to buying another one for my next house.

F&P Electric Cooktop 60cm, 4 burner
This was a replacement for a similar F&P model bought around 13 years ago and was going well until it was blown by an electrical issue covering the whole street. So I am comparing the two. The later model does not have the nice smooth metal edge my original one had. Although I use the correct SS cookware and the correct sizes, any cooking seems to leave a marks or rings which have to be cleaned off constantly with cooktop cleaner. The touch controls work well but are almost impossible to see until they are lit. The cooktop cooks efficiently but I prefer the original for surface quality and easier to read touch controls. I think a neat metal edge is far more attractive and easier to clean around the edges than the current model which sticks up from the bench top a little and causes a dirt trap. So I would give it a 9 1/2 for function and a 4 for design and quality.

If replacing an older cooktop allow for additional costs to upgrade wiring and safety switches for installation
