Excellent layout and simple. I did a lot of research and this fridge/freezer offered the best bang for my buck. A fridge tech that I have known for many years also told me this is the fridge with the least amount of issues of all the brands he deals with....that was good enough for me

Fisher & Paykel French Door Fridge 569L
Bought this as a warranty replacement for a highly respected Euro brand 562L fridge. This F&P fridge is outstanding in every way. Far more useable space than its predecessor of similar capacity. Finding food is easy especially with the full pull out crispers. And they hold a lot. The icemaker works perfectly, unlike its predecessor, and the water dispensor with light is excellent. The only downside may be the filter which is external, although this provides a little more space inside. It's super quiet and although 3.5 star, it's power usage is not much more than 4 star. All in all, extremely happy with this fridge.

A sleek appliance, but think through the handles!
A super sleek fridge, and a very happy addition to anyones kitchen. This model replaces an earlier model for me (17 years old), and while I swear it has one less shelf, the space is great, the LED lights have never made the inside of a fridge brighter. The freezer drawers and pull out shelves work very well, and in the "new fridge" halo time, these areas remain clean and organised!The water and ice functions have worked beautifully, and the water dispenser is very sleek. Install and water connection were a breeze, especailly as it was essentially a change over. On the negative side - the individual bottle rests don't warm my heart - infact I retained the bottle rack from my old model and installed it! I am 50/50 on the handles or no handles decision! But is it sleek, and being tall, I can easily reach the rebates on the top of the doors to open it, but my shorter house mates are challenged, and use the bottom rebates - the outcome is handmarks all over the sleek stainless steel, BUT I remain happy with my decision. I would buy again!

Whisper Quiet
My wife and I are delighted with our new fridge-freezer. It is so much quieter than our previous we don't know if it's running, but the drinks are kept cool. The ice-maker is also quiet and we don't hear it making the cubes. Yet they pile up nicely in the large tray. We especially like the easy slide of the drawers and the spaciousness of the interior. We did need to adjust the shelves and door pockets to accommodate taller bottles, and that was easy. Connecting to the internet was difficult so we gave up eventually as it was not useful an the personal info required to register we thought should not really be required. All in all a great buy.

Great Fridge!
Super fast delivery, well priced and exactly as described. Ice cube maker is great for those afternoon G&T's and the chilled filtered water dispenser is a nice luxury any time of day. Easy to install and stable. Awesome finish in the matte black glass, fairly prone to greasy finger prints but easy to clean when necessary. The fridge is quiet when the compressor is running and functional at keeping things cool and fresh. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent fridge but smaller capacity Freezer
I am enjoying the French door refrigerator because it is easy for me to find all the items in the fridge as it isn't too deep. I can place large platters in the fridge and there is good space in the door shelves. the freezer isn't as big as I am used to but I have adjusted my freezings needs to accommodate the smaller space. I love the water dispenser and the ice maker.

Drawer system poorly designed
I like the fridge except the drawers both are the full width of the fridge which means I must have both doors open to pull the drawers open to excess items in the drawer system. This is inefficient and I would give anything to be able to access a drawer with one door open.

Black stainless French door fridge no handles.
I really like this fridge. It’s nice and slimlined. I like how the ice forms in the freezer. The water dispenser allows for any size bottle to be filled up. The filter is outside the fridge so you lose no space inside. You can change the shelving around. With ice being made in freezer there is no space lost in fridge door. The only annoying thing is opening both doors to open the pullout drawers in fridge but you get used to it. Plenty of space in both fridge and freezer. Easy to operate controls for ice and temperature. Plus has a bonus bottle chill feature.

A household brand you can trust
F&P has never let me down and this fridge is no exception. Immaculately designed to offer a family sized fridge whilst still maintaining slim line look and feel. The additional storage for meats is my favourite feature followed by the recessed door handles. Not to mention, it's backed by F&P's amazing service for peace of mind. Highly recommended.

Filter Issues
I didn’t get a new refrigerator, the only F&P business was replacing the Filter Head that was leaking. I did respond earlier to a survey pointing this out, and expressed concern of the advice the tradesman told me, that any future replacement filters may leak due to the inferior o ring setup in the Filter Head. He suggested I not use the compatible Filter cartridge that fitted into the Filter Head, but instead suggested I install an inline filter, as he had found these a better replacement, than the filter that fitted into the F/Head. As I had already bought 2 filter cartridges I chose to proceed with the Filter Head Setup.
Apparently he had raised this before with F&P but they continue to use the F/Head setup instead of the “in line” system. I can only wait and see if my remaining cartridge is compatible with the newly replaced Head, as by then I expect my refrigerator will be out of warranty.

Couple notes to consider
Just note - the fridge requires plumbing and you need to open both front doors in order to pull veggie drawers out for access. I had to order solely online due to recovering from an injury and this was not clearly identified to me on the website or over the phone. However, fridge is incredibly spacious and has performed well in the heat. Very happy with my purchase and looking forward to getting it plumbed in eventually now, would have been nice to have a little tank you can full up though.

So good I bought the newer model
This is our second F&P Freestanding French Door Refrigerator Freezer. The first still working after 12 years but a bit battered and bruised from frequent use. We were so happy with first we decided to replace like with like. Our new model looks nearly identical but its performance is sooooo much better. Silent - yes and intuitive. A lot simpler to use the functionality. Well done F&P.

Had the previous model for many years, and to be honest, because of the width, we needed to replace it with the same dimension fridge. Perfectly happy to do so however as the last one lasted a long time and suited our purposes beautifully.

I love my new french door fridge such a slick look, spacious, well lite. It has all the features, only thing that is a negative is the water filter cartridge not easy accessible would of been better if it was inside the fridge.
