Should do better from
Old style better
I had a Fisher & Parkel for 10 years. Loved it. This new one is crap. Can’t fit stuff in with its folding frames etc. makes heaps of noise. Brush up against it & it starts. I am very disappointed in something that cost over $900

Wet, wet, and still wet
We are disappointed with our new F&P dishwasher, besides the shocking delivery and installation the control panel is one of those ‘press 3 buttons while standing on 1 leg’ type. But the most annoying thing is that it doesn’t dry very well at all. The manual says to open the door a bit when finished but I’m reluctant to get up at 2am or come home from work mid-morning to do this.
I can’t understand how it got past any product testing, and judging from the hose that came with it, the components are cheap plastic.

Great machine let down by poor internal placement
Racks could be more user friendly, I am struggling to make best use of the configuration. I had to pay the Plumber extra to install a steam guard, as the bit of adhesive material supplied was useless. Other than that it washes very well.

Love this dishwasher BUT I have it under my kitchen bench and every time I stand in front of it because the controls are so sensitive it turns on 🥴

Only thing not happy with is the fitment of the cutlery holder , it slots about loosely.
it could be better designed to slot in place.
Also this cutlery holder where the top section is able to be removed , comes out too easily due to the heat expansion.
the legs that hold it in need to be stronger by adding more material, so it does flex when heated.

This is my second F & P dishwasher. They have changed the layout in this model. The layout is just ok. I find it difficult to place things in when comparing it to the last one. It isn’t so good for wine glasses. The washing of the dishes is great which is why I gave it 4 starts. It is also super easy to use. Every time you open the dishwasher it turns on which is unusual.
