Great product
We bought a new house, so needed a new dishwasher. We love the dish drawer, as a couple it’s ideal for smaller everyday washes & when the kids come home, we can do a bigger load. This machine easily holds way more than a standard dishwasher because of the drawer configuration.
We alternate between drawers to dpread the wear as advised by a F&P technician years ago & we’ve had years of good service from each of the machines we’ve purchased over time.

Twice lucky
We bought this because we were so happy with an earlier two drawer version we owned. Unfortunately the new one lasted 4 washes and died. However F&P sent a technician immediately who determined it was not repairable in the field and dispatched a replacement. The replacement unit is performing as expected and providing all the benefits that a two drawer washer provides. So glad we went with a two drawer again.

Two drawer dishwasher is a Winner
Two drawer dishwasher in my opinion is best piece of equipment. No need to wait for entire dishwasher to be full before putting through a cycle as the two drawer takes two half loads one can be cleaning as you’re filling second drawer and so it continues.

Stacking is important.
Large plates area is okay - small plates area needs careful juggling of cereal plates and b&b plates. Cannot put wine glasses in if there are too many cups etc. Needs careful planning. I took out the extra cutlery baskets as I found they were not needed. For a general wash needs to be on at least the medium button. For plates that are pretty clean the fast wash is good and quick.

Best Dishwasher yet
We had a single dishdrawer back in the 80s and loved it. Since then we have had various other dishwashers in other properties all with a good brand name and all worked well. We decided to replace our current dishwasher as it was integrated and were sick of issues with the panel. After much research and deliberation we went for the double dishdrawer. It is fantastic! Washes well and dries much better than any of our previous dishwashers. Surprised how much it fits in it. We put everything including pots and pans in it. Because there are 2. We never have stuff on the sink or benches waiting for a load to finish and we no longer fill our cavernous sink to wash tall wine glasses and things we may need to use again within 24hrs. Load up one and then start loading the other whilst the first load washes. Our model which has just been superceded has the external screen and panel with duration and countdown which I absolutely love. It is by far the quietest diswasher yet. I love the fact that you are loading everything into one pullout drawer instead of opening a door and pulling racks in and out. The filters are easy to clean without taking the whole rack out. There is a lift up section under the cutlery basket and both the centre filter and stainless drainer part come out through that opening. So I clean it every couple of weeks. Making it a quick and simple task. We have had a lot of visitors since it was installed about 6 weeks ago so it has had a great work out and has performed beautifully. Highly recommend!

Best Purchase Ever
This is the first time I have owned a dishwasher and I love it. It is so easy to use and the dishes come out sparkling clean. The dishwasher is so quiet I don't even notice it is on.
I hope I don't break it from overuse :)

Double DishDrawer has got better.
The Double DishDrawer is a step up from the original model. The adjustable side shelves and tiltable of the dish racks is great and the basket for the utensils is a vast improvement and the provision of the washing tablet container is a great idea, except if you place it on the bottom rack it can get dislodged into the water impellers. Everything else works well.

This replaced the original dish draw. Some new features including the adjustable cap shelves are a plus. 😃The new design cutlery basket even with the new inserts is a negative. Our spoon fork and knife handles are too wide so have to be put into the open areas. The new knife slots leave them dirty and wet.😠 The noise during operation is another improvement 😃

Current model seems smaller than previous, but ok.
These are a lot smaller these days, with more plastic and less metal. The racks are bulkier leaving less space for dishes, and width and height seems smaller than prior versions too. Bottom draw seems to absorb the condensation from the top, leaving much more water floating around than normal. Otherwise, it does the job.

Not as good as the 2003 model
Yes this F&P double dishdrawer is good. It is quiet, washes the items inside well, provided you don't overload it and prefers to use washing powder. I read a lot about the slightly smaller interior in the newer models compared to the 2003 models and found that to stop the plates and dishes touching each other I could actually remove the upper shelf to give more room. It has more control settings but as yet I have not seen the need to use them. The plastic guard that you can attach after its set in place is a waste of plastic, not required. But yes all said we still love the 2 drawer setup and the dishwasher!

Convenient to use
It has been a month since the Double DishDrawer was installed, it has been working perfectly and is very quiet. We have had to make slight adjustments to how we load the DishDrawer compared with our previous dishwasher but we have that sorted now. I like the fact that there is a timer so you can programme washing during off peak power times. Although the installation didn't go as smoothly as we hoped, Fisher and Paykel were quick to attend and sort out the problem and also did a follow up call to ensure that we were completely happy. If I had the space I would have a single DishDrawer each side of the sink, maybe the next kitchen reno.

No more hand washing of anything! Yay!
I do love the double drawer dishwasher as it allows me to put everything in. I no longer have to hand wash anything and that is just fantastic.
I had a single drawer before and still had to wash up the saucepans etc but no more!
The only thing is that the racks are notbas easy as in my old one, they seem tighter and closer and I didn't like the deaign of the cutlery holder, the old one was far better. This one is also much tighter to get knives and forks in when using the separators. But apart from that its great.

The worst dishwasher I have ever purchased
I bought this dishwasher about a month ago snd the reviews I had read looked good. I was excited to get a drawer dishwasher. I regret this decision immensely! It is the worst dishwasher I have ever had.
It is really quiet but even on a heavy wash cycle it doesn't wash properly (and I rinse dishes before putting them in!) Comes out with food still on it!
I'm tried tablets and powder and still the same.
I actually hate it and would never recommend it to anyone!

Whisper quiet with stunning performance.
The FP Dishdrawer is a replacement to our aged and constantly under performing (other brand ) washer. The availability of running smaller loads semi frequently in our household is a welcome change to the previous arrangements, being a large load frequently.
The FP Dishdrawer has performed without fault or concern. Of particular note, the FD Dishdrawer is almost whisper quiet with wash cycles that suit our family. We look forward to many years of service with the new product.
