Second time round.
This new drawer dishwasher was to replace one that was purchased on 20/2/2007, ie over 17 years ago. We were thrilled to find we could still get a drawer dishwasher to fit in the same space, as we were so happy with our previous one.
We could do a good wash, and have things dried nicely, with a 56 minute cycle with the previous one.
We are somewhat disappointed in our new one.
By trialling, we are using the ‘medium, sanitise, cycle, with rinse aid set at RA5,’ which takes 131 minutes. That is more than twice the time of the old one.
BUT, we find it doesn’t wash or dry as well as the previous one. And there is always water sitting on the rim of the drawer.
We have kept the old cutlery basket from the previous dishwasher, as it is so much better than the new one.
We also find it harder to stack with changes that have been made to the racks.

Great DishDrawer dishwasher
I recently purchased a Fisher and Paykel Series 7, Contemporary DishDrawer to replace the old model that was originally in my house when I bought it. This new model looks stylish in my kitchen, and is so quiet when running you hardly notice that it on at all. It's easy to use and very efficient, and works well on the eco cycle. Overall, I'm very happy with its performance so far.

Love it!
I didn’t have a choice as I had a hole to fill but so glad this fitted without a hole and is so very quiet. The one I had was about 25 yrs old and only fixed once, so happy to have another single drawer in my kitchen.

Just as good, as always.
I bought series 7 to replace an older model of the same brand. The old one served me well. So, there is no surprise that the new one works a little better. And it looks better as well. I wanted to replace it with a full-size dishwasher because it is cheaper. But my wife doesn't want to accumulate dirty dishes inside the machine. So, the single drawer works pretty fine for us.

This is my second drawer dishwasher first one lasted 20 years, loved it, no leaning over. My new one is very similar, different design inside, personally I thought the first drawer design inside was better, the plates seemed to fit easier, other than that, I love it.

2nd F&P dishdrawer
This is the second dishdrawer. My first was purchased in 2009/10 and was a great machine.
It eventually gave up the ghost and had to purchase another one. Dishdrawer is the only way to go. A bit more expensive than the norm, but you wont be disappointed.

Layout limits loadable items, sanitise a must.
I was very happy with my previous Dishdrawer circa 2008. In order to fit dimensions of my space I chose to get another Dishdrawer. Unfortunately the new layout means fewer dishes can be loaded. Height of foldable cup racks also too low, I used to be able to load more dishes underneath them. "Sanitise" option is vital otherwise dishes not clean enough.

Clean plates
After having had a F&P single drawer dishwasher for 17 years, and been very happy with it, I am a little disappointed with the cleaning outcome of my new one. I am doing nothing different but find I now need to rinse and brush plates and some cutlery in order for them to come out clean. I have looked at troubleshooting hints.

Not Happy!
New DishDrawer was installed by Fisher & Paykel 6 weeks ago. It is now broken. It takes two weeks for a service technician to come visit which means I have to manually wash a whole office worth of dishes for two weeks. Not ideal!

The Best
This is my third dish drawer as I have limited space in our two person household. But, that I aside, I am delighted with the its effectiveness and if I had more space, I’d just get a double drawer. Couldn’t be happier. And always happy dealing with Fisher & Payless employees who are always pleasant and helpful .

A few minor grumbles
We originally installed a F&P Single DIshDrawer when we had our kitchen rebuilt in 2006 and were pleased with its operation until last year. The rinsing fluid reservoir had stopped operating several years ago and on advice of others this did not matter so we kept using it until it stopped working late last year. The technician who came found that the reservoir had finally corroded through and was letting water in to the adjacent electronics. The advice was rather than replace the module to update the entire machine in view of its age. We ordered and had the latest replacement model installed.
Our previous model had a white front which suited our kitchen whereas the latest version is only available with a flat stainless steel front, which does not complement our colour scheme.
The newer machine has been redesigned so we are finding that we cannot fit in as many plates and mugs as before. In particular the cutlery basket is bigger and we have lost at least one useful space beside it.
The plates are now sometimes touching and hence occasionally sections are not being cleaned.
Otherwise we are happy with the new machine's performance and especially its almost silent operation.

Woo hoo. A new dishwasher.
We are very happy with our new dishwasher, although it did have an issue early on with how the water was draining out, but when the technician came to visit, he was able to fix the problem effectively and efficiently which has made us happy with our purchase even more.
