In September of 2018, Fisher & Paykel issued a notice to customers who had purchased a Fisher & Paykel 30” Freestanding Gas Range between March and August 2018, alerting them to a possible fault.
The fault related to a potentially loose connection in the range’s gas line which may pose a fire hazard.
A total of 83 units were inspected and/or serviced throughout the Canadian market. Three customers have yet to respond to requests to inspect and repair appliances.
Customers with the following appliances are asked to contact Fisher & Paykel directly to arrange for this repair to take place:

The model number and serial number are located on the rating plate as shown in the images.
If your appliance is one of the three outstanding and matches the above serial number, please shut off the gas supply to the appliance immediately and discontinue use until the rear gas connection to the range has been inspected and serviced.
This service may be arranged with Fisher & Paykel at no cost to the consumer. If you are unsure how to shut off the appliances gas supply please contact your gas company.
