Excellent quality and easy to use hob.
Very much enjoying using our new hob. Very for my dad to install. Only downside was that it didn't come with a pre-installed cable so my dad who is an electrician by trade had to supply some. But overall performance is great. The hob has different timers for each zone which is great. They are a little hard to use but great to have all the same. This hob packs in a lot of features for a reasonable price. Keep it up Fisher Paykel.

Excellent value for money and great quality.
Well constructed induction hob and has features that more expensive induction hobs have.
The hob doesn't come with a cable but the electrician wiring it can supply this no problem.
Very easy to use slide bar operation and has the option of different timers for each zone which is a very smart idea.

Fast controllable cooking
The cooktop does seem to work well and is easy to clean. That said, within 3 weeks one side of it showed error 2. None of the accompanying information showed how to deal with this issue. The F & P website indicated a technician should be called. I have since found that I could have cleared this overheat error by waiting for it to cool down, turning it on and pressing any power on the affected side. There was no need to call a technician.

We really like our F&P cooktop. Love how it is a flat surface so useable as bench space too. And you can boil a large pot of water in just a few minutes!! Just need to be careful as we have noticed if you put anything down on the controls it sometimes adjusts the temp of the elememt you're using. One down side is it seems to mark badly. We have only had ours for about a month and there are quite a few marks that wont clean off already. In general it is a nic, easy to use cooktop.

Great experience with induction!
Although it took a little time to get used to using an induction hob (had a F&P electric hob prior) we love it! It is easy to use and I like that the heat setting is immediate and easy to control. Great design that looks great too!

I’ve had this cooktop for a couple of weeks and it’s great so far though it has a louder hum than my last cooktop. The Power boost feature really speeds up heating, great when bringing water to the boil. Standard sizing made it easy to fit the unit in to the bench replace the old one.
