It’s ok for a $2000 dishwasher.
There is no time indicator. Have no idea how long a cycle will last. I set timers, but If I do an “extra dry” cycle, It goes on so long that I forget to stop the timer. I did not want this F&P model dish drawer. I ordered a 7 series, which had an indicator. It was damaged and the retailer offered this model instead. My last F&P dish drawer lasted over 17 years. I knew the cycle times and there was an indicator when the cycle was over. I also knew which cycle required dish washer soap in both slots (For example, I was only to fill one slot if running a “fast” cycle). I read the instruction booklet, called F&P, looked on line and called the retailer and no one can tell me how long each cycle runs and how much soap to use for certain cycles with the new dishwasher. There is water throughout the drawers that does not evaporate. I know a small amount of water stays in the drain catch, but there is water that remains throughout top drawer for days. I’m a little afraid mold will build up and I don’t want to leave the drawer open to help the evaporation process. It’s very nice looking, but I miss the functionality of the old dishwasher. Loved the brand so much, I bought a F&P washing machine many years ago. I love the double drawer dishwasher so I will not replace it with an inferior brand.

Love the double drawer idea
We like the polished metal finish. The dishes are very clean and the way we like them. I don't like the arrangement of the inside as much as I did with our original double drawer (more than 20 years ago)

Quiet and Stylish Dish Drawer
This is our 2nd double dish drawer by Fisher & Paykel. Quiet, easy to load and stylish. Our dishes and silverware always come out sparkling. Service is taken care of promptly. Highly recommend!

Dishwasher bottom drawer did not drain
I bought the dishwasher from Best Buy. When the dishwasher was installed , the bottom drawer did not drain. I've been waiting two months for the replacement. The whole experience has been terrible! This is my 5th Fisher Paykel drawer dishwasher. I can't believe how terrible the customer service has been and the lack of concern for taking care of the problem.

My dishes have never been this easy!
This dishwasher has been a life changer - no more soaking and rinsing dishes, only to still have them not come out clean. From the flexibility of the racks, to the ease of loading (after a little practice), to the pleasure of not having to bend down to load and unload, except when we use the bottom drawer, we have found this dishwasher to be amazing! There are just 2 of us, so we generally only run the top drawer, which is large enough to hold all of the day's dishes, but if we use more than usual, or have a small load, there is the nicely sized bottom drawer. Our dishes come out sparkling clean, no matter how crusty they are or how long we've allowed them to sit. When they say no rinsing, they mean it. Only issue lately is we changed to a powder detergent away from pods and we are having to adjust the amount we use; we started out using too little, but I think we've found the sweet spot. We generally run on the medium cycle (not ECO) and haven't had to use the heavy cycle even for the worst dishes. One thing we can't evaluate is how it does with plastics, which I never put in a dishwasher. Bottom line - we like her so much we named her Wanda!

Good when working / Impossible to fix
Initially this dishwasher was okay at best:
- the product washed dishes and having two drawers made it easy to separate glasses and dishes
However, the dishwasher started to never finish its drying mode.
- There was no way to turn off the dishwasher without checking the breaker at that point
- When the dishwasher was turned back on, the dishwasher would never stop beeping
- Now we have to shut off the breaker every time to turn it off
Further more, we asked 4 appliance repair organization and not one would service this particular dishwasher. "Those are notoriously bad dishwashers" 3 of them said (the 4th simply said "he won't be able to fix it").
So I scoured Youtube on ways to repair the damage. I found the filters. I manually drained and dried the dishwasher. Still beeping and still refusing finish the cycle.
Now we have a dishwasher that's a headache to use and turn off.

Hands down, the BEST!!
I love this dishwasher!! It’s so good to have the FIsher & Paykel Dish drawers again! We’ve owned this model in two previous homes, and I am THRILLED to have it back! We’ve purchased this model three times; two times in new construction homes that we sold after living in for 2 years. Our current home had a dishwasher that stopped working and I immediately knew what I was replacing it with! I could recall that I loved this dishwasher from my previous experiences, but I forgot how much I loved it until I got it back! You will not be disappointed! Runs quiet, dries well, sanitizes, easy to load/ unload, and it’s beautiful! I also love that you can run a small load on not feel guilty because you didn’t fill a whole dishwasher. Capacity is split between two drawers instead of one whole unit.

Second drawer dishwasher purchase
This is the second drawer dishwasher I purchased from F&P. The first one was over 12 years old and worked great. Because I was doing a total kitchen makeover I elected to purchase a new drawer dishwasher from F & P. This one broke after less than 2 months and I have not been able to get service for 3 weeks. Very disappointed in this purchase and would really think twice about getting another one

Great addition to kitchen in Tennessee
Sleek design and operation. Take a few loads to get the hang of it and have to load the washer as recommended or will not clean properly. The two drawers is nice for smaller loads and the wine glass rack is awesome.

Substandard at Best!
Extremely disappointed with this unit. It is my third Fisher Paykel dishwasher and it is not nearly as efficient as my 2 prior units. It doesn’t clean well, it does not get hot enough and uses more energy and water than the previous models. The repair men explained that the new model has an extremely small heating element compared to the older models which means you need to run the hot water before using and run longer cycles. SO MUCH FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND WATER CONSERVATION! Shame on Plessers Appliance for not explaining the changes in these dishwashers.

Very quiet DW. Maybe too quiet.
Overall, seems to be a fine DW. Only issue so far is the beeper tone is inaudible, making it impossible to set up a timed wash cycle. (You need to count beeps to define hour delay). several emails twixt F&P customer service have so far been ineffective in resolving.

You'll love F&P DishDrawer Dishwasher
This Double DishDrawer Dishwasher is a "MUST" in any home I occupy. It's quiet, efficient and holds everything I need to do daily dishwashing. My first Fisher & Paykel Double DishDrawer dishwasher was approx 18 years ago when we remodeled our kitchen. I rarely used the dishwasher we had because it would take me 3-4 days to make a full load. I found that one of the DishDrawers most often handled a full days dishes for our family of four...this made me happy. I recently retired, moved into a new home and the first thing I did was purchase a Fisher & Paykel Double DishDrawer Dishwasher. This is the third one for me. I see there are other brands now available however I have never had any issues with my Fisher & Paykel brand and will continue to stay with this brand for any future purchases. For those of you with smaller families who do not like dirty dishes sitting around give this a try...you will fall in love like it did. It is well worth it.

Error codes and incomplete cycles after a week.
Our dishwasher was awesome for about 12 cycles... Fault codes and incomplete cycles started, its been looked at twice with no real resolution. Unfortunately its in a vacation home and waiting on parts that may solve the problem, we wont know until April. Disappointing for what is deemed and priced as a high-end product.

We like how it fits in with our other kitchen appliances. We have had it abut a month and we are still trying to figure the best way to load it and the steps to start the wash cycle. We are about ready to call customer service to see what we are doing wrong.

Amazing Dishwasher
This is our second Fisher Paykel double drawer dishwasher from your company and I would never put a single drawer dishwasher in my house again the Convenience of having two drawers to fill is amazing one for nighttime dishes and one for morning dishes which is superb! The only thing I would suggest for this new model that's different from the old model is that you have a light or a display that either changes colors when it is clean or a display that says it's clean so that way someone doesn't open up the clean drawer and put dirty dishes inside of it. The older models had an indication method that helped with that issue.Other than that we Love the design and also how quiet it is.

Two drawer unit
After buy numerous dishwashers with poor results. I purchased this because of the convenience of the top drawer, no bending, my wife has a very bad back and this was the best solution.
As it turns out, in addition to cleaning extremely well, very convenient running one drawer and having the other ready to load. I highly recommend this dishwasher!
