So far on our journey we have:

  • Established a global employee-led Gender Inclusion and Cultural Diversity network, as well as a Māori and Pasifika network in New Zealand
  • Increased diversity in talent acquisition
  • Updated key policies and practices, like flexible working, to enable greater participation
  • Designed inclusive leadership development programmes for all our leaders
  • Developed and implemented Thrive, a mentorship programme for women
  • Introduced Te Reo Māori courses in collaboration with Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei
  • Sponsored Women in Engineering groups with Auckland and Christchurch universities

Sustainability

We view sustainability as the movement of our time. Growing consciousness for our own health and the health of our planet is playing an increasing role in how we live, work and play.

Our commitment to sustainability is deeply embedded in our thinking. It informs the way we work, the products we make, the packaging they come in, and the way they are delivered. In a rapidly changing world, our responsibility to reduce our impact is one we take seriously and embrace.

In recent years, we’ve refined product design to reduce energy consumption by up to 50% and appointed Sustainability Business Partners who are leading work to:

  • Perform Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of key products
  • Formalise our Sustainably Minded organisational structure
  • Measure our greenhouse gas baseline across operations for 2019 and 2020
  • Reduce our operational and product waste
