Designed around Antonio Citterio's Convivium island, a sophisticated piece of systems design in its own right, this kitchen is designed as a space for multiple cooks and as an example of timeless design. The luxury materials, sophisticated colourways, refined Column refrigeration integration details and consistency of form are all building blocks of a considered kitchen.

MATERIALS

The island introduces a layered materiality of Arabescato marble, with Arclinea's iconic drip–edge, and precisely milled ‘Bronze PVD’ cabinets — manufactured by binding colour to stainless steel via the evaporation of titanium molecules. Exquisite J–shaped finger pulls maintain the clean–lined aesthetic and allow easy access to the seamlessly integrated DishDrawer™ Dishwashers that have been distributed to either side of the sink.

FIT AND FINISH

The combination of Contemporary Style and integrated appliances, with careful attention to fit, finish and material matching, has resulted in a warm, welcoming and functional space. The kitchen is a showcase of appliance formats — 60, 76 and 90cm — combined in linear, stacked and quadrant installations. The appliance details help extend a unified design language across the kitchen.

SEAMLESS
INTEGRATION

Within this contemporary kitchen, the refined material contrasts and horizontality of appliance hardware are echoed by the bands of Fossil Oak that frame the drawers and cupboards of the perimeter cabinetry. The integrated Columns refrigeration and freezer solutions dissolve into the kitchen landscape, and flush-fitted hobs also help change the reading of space from ‘kitchen’ to ‘living’.
