FISHER & PAYKEL INTRODUCES NEXT GENERATION 30" BUILT-IN WALL OVEN

30 April 2026

Fisher & Paykel, the luxury kitchen appliance brand, has announced the evolution of its 30" Built-In Wall Oven, introducing its vision for the future of cooking and its most advanced cooking platform to date.

Designed in Aotearoa New Zealand, the oven forms part of Fisher & Paykel’s evolving State of the Art Collection – a curated suite of appliances that represents the brand’s most advanced expression of performance innovation, architectural clarity and design refinement.

Engineered to deliver perfect results with ease and precision, the new platform marks a step change in how temperature, humidity and cooking methods are combined in the home, delivering a level of precision and repeatability more commonly associated with professional environments. At the forefront of this evolution, the new 30" Steam Assist model delivers added culinary precision through the controlled release of steam throughout cooking, maintaining consistent humidity alongside precisely balanced convection heat and airflow.

“Our clear goal from the beginning was to reset expectations of what precision cooking means at home,” says Katrina Glenday, Chief Marketing and Product Management Officer. “We started with first principles – size, consistency and performance – and applied a deeply analytical approach to the science of cooking. The result is a category-redefining platform change.”

Precision Cooking, Enabled by Steam Assist Technology

At the core of the new cooking experience is Steam Assist Technology, which ensures precise and consistent humidity levels throughout the cooking process, improving moisture retention and ensuring more even browning and caramelisation during higher-temperature cooking.

An advanced method-led user interface sequences cooking functions automatically based on food type and technique, translating professional cooking methods into an intuitive domestic experience.

The oven can be configured in vertical stacks, paired arrangements or horizontal installations, supporting a wide range of kitchen layouts and design approaches. Across the 30" oven family, configurations span traditional convection, steam assist, combi-steam and speed oven models, ensuring steam-led performance sits within a broader cooking solution that can be tailored to different performance and spatial design requirements.

Mastery of Temperature at Full Scale

The oven’s re-engineering resulted in a 20% increase in internal capacity, supporting true multi-shelf cooking without compromise. A vertical twin-fan system with twin-element heat sources maintains consistent airflow and temperature throughout the cavity – addressing one of the most persistent challenges in domestic ovens.

The result is greater predictability and repeatability, enabling confident cooking across multiple dishes and shelf positions.

Intuitive Control and Connected Experience

Interaction is centred on a large 6.8” touchscreen, designed to provide clear visual navigation and responsive control.

From the touchscreen, users can select a cooking method, allowing the oven to automatically sequence heat type, steam profile and temperature according to the dish and technique – such as reverse sear, air fry or roast.

Across the 30” oven collection, available methods vary by model, including steam-assisted and full steam cooking capabilities. Each method is scientifically calibrated to deliver consistent texture, moisture retention and flavour, while still allowing experienced cooks to adjust settings and refine results.

Fisher & Paykel’s SmartHQ™ connected platform allows users to monitor cooking progress remotely and receive software updates that evolve performance over time.

Design Style Evolution

The new 30” Built-In Wall Oven is available in Minimal, Contemporary and Professional styles, each offering a distinct architectural expression.

Minimal Style ovens are offered in black and grey glass with handle and handle-free options that fit flush with cabinetry to support continuous kitchen surfaces. All Minimal Style ovens are dial-free, with voice control technology supporting hands-free interaction during cooking.

The Contemporary Style oven with dial control introduces a new brushed silver glass finish, subtly reflective to add tonal depth while maintaining a calm, considered presence within layered interiors.

The Professional Style continues to express performance through robust materiality and high-grade stainless-steel detailing.
