Welcome to the Fisher & Paykel Experience Centre

Our Experience Centre is a specially designed and curated space, providing access to a selection of signature Fisher & Paykel kitchen and laundry products as well as DCS Outdoor Grills.

Located in Alexandria, heartland of Sydney’s design district, the Experience Centre enables you to view the full range of appliances on the interactive digital displays which provide product information including features and specifications. The Experience Centre also includes curated display areas showcasing appliances as they would appear in the home. A team of passionate consultants and our resident cooking specialist are always on-hand to give authentic advice on product selection and use.

What's the difference between the cooking class types?

Pre/post purchase cooking classes are demonstration style.

Demonstration Classes are great for clients who like to learn by watching. Recommended for cooks with or without experience, who prefer to witness all recipes from start to finish being created in class. The class will be held in our fully equipped kitchen and is designed to answer your questions and provide expert training under the direction of our cooking specialist. 

Do you cater for dietary requirements and allergies to food?

We endeavour to accommodate dietary preferences and allergen avoidance but we cannot guarantee there will be no nuts, dairy and wheat products in some dishes. Contact us for any further clarification and to ask questions. We will do our best to accommodate requests.

Where do I park?

Limited parking is available onsite to customers who book into a class.

When booking into a class you have the option to request a parking space. The Experience Centre Manager will then contact you to confirm availability. There is also street parking available, but please leave plenty of time to park as it can get very busy.

What do I wear?

We strongly recommend wearing closed in flat shoes for safety reasons. Please no thongs, sandals or stilettos. Smart casual wear is appropriate with minimal jewellery and short sleeves that make cooking easier.

Do you offer corporate team building cooking classes?

At the moment we only offer demonstration classes, not hands-on cooking classes which are more suitable for corporate team building. We hope to be able to provide this in the future.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes you can. You will receive a confirmation email and reminder email once you have booked into a class. Both emails give you the opportunity to change or cancel your booking.

Please note: your cooking class booking fee is non-refundable.

How long do the classes run for?

2 to 3 hours depending on the class which includes introduction, presentation, cooking demonstration and eating.

Can we BYO alcohol?

No, alcohol will be provided in some classes.

Can we take the food away?

All food is to be consumed on the premises.

Do the cooking classes cost money?

Yes, please refer to the specific class you are interested in on our booking page for more information.

If I cancel my booking do I get a refund?

No you don’t receive a refund if you cancel your booking. You can however transfer your booking to someone else by contacting syd.experiencecentre@fisherpaykel.com or
02 9096 4999.

Do you offer children's cooking classes?

No, but we may in the future so check the website for details. 

Can I purchase products?

No, but we can refer you to your closest appliance retailer. 

Do I need to bring anything?

Not really! Just your appetite, we will supply the rest.
