When time is short you can select a quick 15 minute wash for freshening up new or lightly soiled garments. In fact, Vortex Wash allows most cycles to take less than one hour to complete. Water is forced from the bottom of the drum, so detergent and heat reach your clothes faster, cleaning quickly and avoiding over-washing.

Great functionality Series 9 Front Loader
This machine is top of its class. You have the functionality to select auto function for multiple washing modes, light, heavy, cotton, spin only, etc. Or you can select your own spin speed, temperature, wash only, wash/spin etc.
Its capacity is great for larger loads eg. bed linen.
Its very quiet in operation.
Great water consumption.

Washes Doonas!
Love my new F&P. My old F&P 8 kg is 9 years old and hasn’t missed a beat, but with a large family I wanted to be able to wash all the Doonas without having to go to the laundromat. So far washed 2 King Sized and they have come up beautifully fresh. Lost 1 star because I find it so complicated but I am very happy with all the new features especially auto detergent and soak.

11kg Series 9 Front Loader Washer
Long time loyal brand customer, first time front loader washing machine owner. I previously owned Fisher & Paykel Top Loader Smartwash earlier model (2012-13), it was time to upgrade as the handwash program will always go out of balance - it got to the point where I had to babysit the machine every time its in a spin cycle.
The new Front Loader has been nothing but amazingly life changing, so much more quieter I sometimes forget it's on. With familiarity with the programs, there are many more programs to use and have used some of the functions already. The towels are washed better than the Top Loader. I have two sons who sometimes still have bed accidents, so the 11kg drum is a life saver when it comes to washing bulky bedding items (yes, even the donnas!). I've used the Steam Refresh twice - a nice extra feature to refresh work shirts. The wireless connectivity I've tried for a about two weeks, setting up I find a bit invasive as it wanted sensitive information - when you think it just needs the serial and model number to connect to the internet... (if you take your digital privacy seriously, then I avoid connecting the washer to your wireless network), I just deleted the app in the end, as the Remote feature and the app itself is boring, it's just another bloatware app clutter on your device in my opinion and the washer works fine without it. Overall, the Front Loader out shines my old Top Loader.

Make things that last please
Third time's a charm, they say! Well, let's hope this washing machine breaks the cycle of its predecessors. I mean, who needs appliances that last longer than a few years anyway? If this one gives up on us, I guess it's back to the good ol' days of river laundry for us! The only hardship for this washing machine so far is the switching from autodosing to manual dosing for every wash cycle—because clearly, pouring detergent into a washer every time is the pinnacle of modern inconvenience!
