Daniel Witten-Hannah Profile Picture.

Daniel Witten-Hannah

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Mr Witten-Hannah was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in December 2019 and has been a Director of Fisher & Paykel Appliances since August 2018.

Mr Witten-Hannah joined Fisher & Paykel Appliances in 1995 and has extensive experience in various leadership and senior executive positions within the company, including Executive VP Product Development, Executive VP Marketing & Digital and, Chief Operating Officer.

During secondment to the United Kingdom, Mr Witten-Hannah oversaw the development and implementation of Fisher & Paykel’s UK and Ireland business strategy to provide an integrated consumer experience as the business expanded into the European market.

Mr Witten-Hannah holds a BE (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Auckland University.

Kane Alward Profile Picture.

Kane Alward

Executive Vice President Product Development

Kane was appointed Executive Vice President Product Development in December 2017. He leads the Fisher & Paykel Appliances Global Product Development teams based in New Zealand and China.

Throughout his career at Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Kane has held a variety of Product Development Senior Leadership roles. As Chief Engineer Laundry and Refrigeration and General Manager Product Development Kane has worked closely with the Haier Group to develop and maximise new technology and synergies between our two companies.

Before joining Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Kane also worked in a number of senior product development roles in New Zealand.

Kane holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (First Class Hons.) from the University of Canterbury and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business from the University of Auckland.

Michael Boersen Profile Picture.

Michael Boersen

Chief Financial Officer

Michael was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Fisher & Paykel Appliances in October 2020, following a 30 year career in CFO and CEO roles across a diverse range of industry sectors.

Michael has a proven track record in change management, strategic guidance and delivery of sustainable financial outcomes through long-term planning in C-suite roles for NZ Post, Yellow, Radius Heath Group, Mainzeal, and Auckland District Health Board among others.

As an accounting professional, Michael brings many years of strong financial experience and business development expertise to Fisher & Paykel Appliances.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Auckland University and is a Chartered Accountant.

Duncan Brown Profile Picture.

Duncan Brown

Executive Vice President People & Capability

Duncan joined Fisher & Paykel Appliances in October 2019 as Executive Vice President People & Capability.

Prior to joining Fisher & Paykel Appliance Duncan has worked for a number of multinational companies including Fletcher Building and Deloitte. He has extensive international experience in senior leadership roles across New Zealand, Australia, Europe, Asia and North America. In these roles Duncan has partnered with leaders to drive cultural transformation and business performance through the leadership of commercially driven people strategies and initiatives.

Duncan holds a Bachelor of Management Studies from the University of Waikato.

Andrew Cooke Profile Picture.

Andrew Cooke

Executive Vice President Customer Experience & Quality

Andrew joined the Fisher & Paykel Executive team in 2013 following a career in the business spanning more than 25 years.

Previous positions within the company include manufacturing support roles in Australia and New Zealand, followed by a move to Information Technology in 1997 and appointment to the position of Vice President Information Technology in 2002. In 2009 he assumed responsibility for our global supply chain with his appointment as Vice President Supply Chain Management.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Auckland.

Mark Elmore

Executive Vice President Design & Brand

With a career spanning more than 35 years in design and product development at Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Mark leads a design team that takes our human-centred design and premium end-to-end brand experience to a global audience.

Mark is responsible for all aspects of design across the organisation, including spatial, industrial design, and global brand, ensuring our unique design philosophy is reflected globally across every brand touchpoint.

Awarded the John Britten Black Pin by the Design Institute of New Zealand for significant achievement in the field of New Zealand design, both nationally and internationally, Mark’s contribution to Fisher & Paykel’s visual brand language and design aesthetic is considerable.

Mark is a graduate of the Massey University College of Creative Arts, and was inducted into the Massey University College of Creative Arts Hall of Fame, for contribution to New Zealand’s economy and identity through design.

Thomas Fenst Profile Picture.

Thomas Fenst

Executive Vice President Supply Chain, Procurement and Manufacturing

Thomas joined Fisher & Paykel Appliances in February 2016 as Global Supply Planning Manager. In August 2018 Thomas was appointed to the Executive team heading up supply chain and procurement.

Thomas has more than 20 years' experience in supply chain management that includes global distribution, sourcing and planning. Prior to joining Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Thomas held various senior leadership positions in Europe and China with global medical device companies. His responsibilities have included the implementation of global planning systems and processes, the establishment and organisational redesign of global supply chain functions and the optimization of distribution and manufacturing networks.

Thomas holds a Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management from Copenhagen Business School.

Katrina Glenday Profile Picture.

Katrina Glenday

Executive Vice President FPA Product Lines

A transformational leader with broad ranging expertise in marketing, retail and eCommerce, Katrina was appointed to the Fisher & Paykel Appliances Executive Team in 2022 as Executive Vice President – FPA Product Lines.

Prior to joining Fisher & Paykel in 2018, Katrina has built a storied career in leadership roles for a number of premium global brands. She brings a deep understanding of product strategy and strong commercial acumen to the Executive Team.

As Executive Vice President of FPA Product Lines, Katrina is responsible for the global strategic leadership of Fisher & Paykel's Home Appliance Product Lines to deliver profitable growth in the premium appliance market.

Katrina holds a Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) from Auckland University.

Rebecca Holbrook Profile Picture.

Rebecca Holbrook

General Counsel

Rebecca joined Fisher & Paykel Appliances as General Counsel in 2004. While at the company, she has been President of the Corporate Lawyers Association of New Zealand and a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the International Bar Association.

Early in her career, she worked for top tier law firms in New Zealand and Australia, before becoming General Counsel of Australian Associated Press. Her career has focused on international corporate projects, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property. She has played a prominent role in many corporate transactions including the acquisitions of DCS, Inc. (USA), Elba Spa (Italy) and Maytag Mexico and the divestment of PML NZ in 2017. She has also been involved in a number of significant international intellectual property licencing transactions.

Rebecca holds Bachelor of Arts and LLB (Hons) degrees from the University of Auckland.

Rudi Khoury

Executive Vice President Digital Transformation, Marketing & IT

Rudi joined Fisher & Paykel Appliances in February 2009 as a Financial Controller, before assuming his current role on Fisher & Paykel’s Executive Team in August 2019.

As Executive Vice President of Digital Transformation, Marketing & IT, Rudi is responsible for delivering seamless customer experience and online platforms that reflect a premium brand experience across every touchpoint.

Throughout his career at Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Rudi has held a variety of senior leadership roles, including as Regional CFO Australia, General Manager of Customer Experience, and General Manager of Sales Operations.

Rudi holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & eCommerce, Masters of Business Administration and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.

Laurence Mawhinney Profile Picture.

Laurence Mawhinney

Executive Vice President Business Development

Following more than two decades of international business experience in some of Fisher & Paykel’s most critical markets, Laurence was appointed Executive Vice President – Business Development in February 2020.

His career at Fisher & Paykel started in 1991, since then going on to hold a number of senior sales roles across Australia and North America.

Laurence was part of the pioneering team that launched Fisher & Paykel into the North American market and, in 2009, was appointed President North America. In 2013, he joined the Executive team as Executive Vice President – Sales and Customer Experience.

He attended Harvard Business School in 2013 and completed their General Management Program for Business Leaders.

Ben Normoyle Profile Picture.

Ben Normoyle

Chief Commercial Officer

An experienced senior leader with more than 12 years’ expertise in the appliances sector, Ben joined Fisher & Paykel Appliances in 2014 as General Manager of Retail Sales in Australia, before transitioning to the role of Chief Operating Officer Australia.

In his role as Chief Commercial Officer, Ben is responsible for the overall commercial operations of Fisher & Paykel, including sales conversion and performance for the key strategic markets of USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Ben is skilled in customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement, as well as the development of effective go to market strategies that draw on the expertise across a wide range of business functions.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Organisational Behaviour from the University of Melbourne, and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business from Monash University.
