Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cooktop I bought this cooktop to replace my previous one…. Very happy with it. Both were F&P

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cooktop No issues. Heats up fast. Easy to keep clean. Looks streamlined and minimal. Have had F&P induction cooktops before and after multiple issues with one of the induction cooktops we decided to give induction a miss. The slower difference in heat up time for electric as compared to induction is noticeable, but hoping electric will avoid the problems we've had in the past with induction.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great purchase. 🎉 Sth Australia. Very much enjoying my ceramic cook top from Fisher and Paykel, though I am still trying to work out the double elements 🤷‍♀️. I’m sure a read of the manual will help. If I could change one thing. it would be to have a large element on the front, not the back where it slashes on the slash back. I’m wondering why the stove top was made this way, as I’ve not struck it before, I’m guessing there is a reason, though it is annoying, but not a first world problem. Congratulations on being super with a quick delivery.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fisher and Paykel Reliable Our new cooktop is terrific. I ordered online, was in stock and then picked up and they bought out to the car for me. Once installed we have used it every day, simple and easy to use and cleans with no fuss. Love it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Is Ok, maybe not suitable for everyone My first electric cooktop purchase after using gas for years. So, these are the things I didn't think to consider that might be helpful to others: 2 lg elements at the rear - makes it awkward to cook. At least 1 large at the front would be more ergonomic. Also causes more splash against the back wall from fry pan or bubbling curries. Elements don't get hot enough to get a largish pot of pasta or rice to a rolling boil. Even with pre-heating the largest element and preboiling water in the kettle. A few things I make that rely on liquid boiling off, I still have to use a portable gas burner. If there's a bit of spillage, or you rest something on the cooktop (eg the hot lid of a pot you're cooking in while you stir) the whole thing sometimes turns itself off. A safety feature I guess, but is a bit annoying. Not many of my pots actually fit the element sizes. I think this cooktop would be fine for people who mainly cook in smaller quantities (singles or couples). I'm finding it not very practical for larger quantities with a family.
