Knock To Pause
Instead of needing a remote control, these DishDrawer™ Dishwashers have a knock to pause function. A double knock on the front panel will pause the dishwasher which can be re-started again by using the start/play button.

Series 9 Dishwasher
I've had F & P dish draws for 30 years. I'm probably a little disappointed with this new unit. There is no external operating light to tell you if the unit is operating. My wife is a little deaf and she has no idea if it is operating at all as it is very quiet. She try's to open the draw to see if it is operating. I have to put my ear to it to see if it is operating.
It has a lot of new features but we don't bother with them as they increase the operating time. It does clean well
The knock feature is gimmicky. and does work

God choice for second dishwasher in kitchen
Great for drinks or bar areas in kitchen. Neat, lots of capacity and easy to use.

Neat, clean and versatile
Our F&P single drawer dishwasher is perfect for our daily use. It is a compact machine that fits in well with our pantry cabinetry. Very simple to operate, cleans quickly, efficiently and quietly.

Fisher & Paykel it’s great for small kitchen
My dishwasher is integrated . So no lights or switches on outside.called into Fisher & Paykel shop in Brunswick Street very helpful. Now have app on phone and it Allows me to see what the programs doing whether it stopped finished..

Good quality product but way too expensive.
Great quality dishwasher. This is the only kind in the market. So we have no other choice. But quite expensive, due to Fisher and Paykel market monopoly in this product.

Two defective new dishwashers in a row.
Our original dishwasher became dysfunctional, after 6 years in early January 2024. Since then we have Had an appliance repair guy confirmed that it was likely unrepairable.
Purchased and install a replacement dishwasher which started to fill as soon as the water was turned on.
Put in an online defect report to F&K and also followed this up will a call to their Service telephone for support.
When nothing happened re the reported defect emailed F&P asking what was happening. No response.
Out of frustration with the F&P lack of support went back to a manager of Harvey Norman and requested that they, as the retailer, solve our problem.
Harvey Norman contacted F&P direct and a replacement dishwater was sent with the understanding that it would be installed by a F&P qualified person.
The individual who delivered the dishwasher had also been tasked to install it. I suspect he was just a helpful delivery guy and clearly knew less about the task at hand than I did and, of course, never even considered browsing/reading the Installation Manual
This replacement item, once connected to water also started to fill with water immediately without electricity on or any program being selected.
Went to our direct contact in F&P who then directed us back to the F&P Service telephone support again but this time I pressed hard to make sure something actually happened.
Repair of the defective dishwasher has now been tasked to a local, qualified F&P tradesman. We are now (26 Apr2024) awaiting repair parts. From beginning to now it has been near 4 months. F&P need to get much better at resolving defective new machines on installation.

Too small vs old model that worked since 2007.
Much smaller inside vs the old model - makes it hard to put smaller glasses on the top shelves while longer glasses are on bottom shelves - which could be done on older model
Cutlery basket partitions too small - have taken them out
Dishwash tab holder doesn’t fix to the cutlery basket so falls in/off
Go back to the old configuration that worked (for us) perfectly well from 2007 till now
