So happy with my new washer
So pleased with my new washer, super quiet and efficient, the standard of wash is so much better, wish I upgraded to this machine years ago. First time front loader buyer also, love it!

Washing machine
Washes well, many cycles to choose from however very noisy at the spinning cycle. Contacted fisher and paykel twice and they have been out to check and says it normal as its not on a slab.

Best Front Washer
Fisher and Paykel’s design of this washer is sleek and modern. In my honest opinion possibly the best looking front washer in the market. Performance wise is top level too with plenty of options to choose from. Would re buy from Fisher and Paykel again if I need to change our washer

Large Door for easy access, inside light good, auto dose eliminates use of powder or capsules and 30 min cycle for fast wash. Very quiet wash and spin.

Reliable and faultless. After 32 months ownership
We purchased the WH1160S1 back in September 2022 and have used extensively since writing of this review June 2025. It has been reliable and faultless, large capacity we've washed everything from extra large dog beds to King size doona's. We've setup quick wash for 95% of our washing. 60 degrees C with max spin RPM. 1 hour and 9 mins. We like how the machine adjusts water automatically for every load. We normally run manual mode but can easily switch to auto dose and auto fabric softener. We use combination of Omo Ultimate liquid, Omo Ultimate Powder or the Omo Ultimate capsules, we've stocked up when on sale. For the versatility and reliability we couldn't fault this machine. We have a heat pump dryer from another manufacturer sitting on top of the WH1160S1 for about 18 months now and they both work great together. We decided to purchase this top of the line (at the time) front load washer coming from and old Fisher and Paykel 7kg Top load washer we had for about 15 years and couldn't get repaired. We're hoping the WH1160S1 machine will last just as long as our old top load washer.

Disappointing advertising from
Disappointing
Disappointed on purchasing this appliance as it was advertised as having a soak cycle but the only way this can be used is through an app and the app had not been finished, so it was false advertising as this was the main reason I bought the machine. Very disappointed
