Series 9 Integrated - excellent but design issues
This is the text I sent to customer.feedback@fisherpaykel.com on 29/11/24 (no reply received): "I installed a new F & P DD60DDFHX9 dishwasher a few days ago s/n BAV453977 and registered the warranty yesterday. This unit replaces the series 7 version, which we have had without issues for the past 12 years.
I called this morning with a query on the warranty and the lady I spoke with provided this email address to provide feedback:
1. Firstly, I appreciate the ease of being able to reach your customer services people and I have found them very helpful, thank you.
2. I called on the warranty because it is unclear if it is 2 years or 5 years. The warranty booklet provided with the dishwasher states 2 years but the website states 5 years. The confirmation of registration does not state anything about the warranty period. I requested that in future the registration confirmation should include the end date of the warranty (e.g. 21/11/2029 in my case). I also requested the format be changed so there is not a large black area, which is very ink wasteful if printing, which most people will want to.
3. It was extremely difficult to fix the 2 on each side fixing brackets. I followed method A as recommended and although it would have been easier if I’d removed the drawer, I did not want to risk this and it is not recommended. I have been in touch with the kitchen installer/manufacturer who originally installed our first dishwasher and he agrees with me. It is very difficult and fiddly to insert and screw in the fixing screws and, moreover, to drill a pilot hole square because even a small chuck fouls on the frame. For future customers please give consideration to modifying for a better method of securing the unit.
4. The tone when using the ‘DELAY START’ is barely audible. On the original Series 7 the pulse sound was much louder and easy to hear. Although in general I like that display features are now concealed within the dishwasher, the difficulty of hearing the delay start tone is a disappointing feature. I presume this cannot be altered through a setting?"

Our second purchase of the beautiful double draw
We have just bought our second double draw dishwasher it replaces the 15 year old one we have just updated Brilliant new edition to the house another fifteen year of shiny plates !!!

2 Draw Dishwasher
While a considered purchase very, very pleased with the DishDraw why hasn't anyone come up with this before. Less clutter in the kitchen as you cand get one of the draws on its wash. Able to use both draws at the same time. This far a lovely machine 😁

Much better than my previous double DishDrawer
I love the design of the double drawer dishwasher. However, my previous model washed terribly. Thankfully this new one is much better.

We've had an older machine for many year. Ridiculously reliable! Ultimately damp invaded some circuit boards that caused its demise. New design improved to avoid a repeat

Dish drawer
Single drawer is so good and has capacity for a family of four that we questioned the need for the second drawer. The ability to do what feels like a half load is great.
Following a larger family meal at the weekend having the second drawer really plays dividends.

Delighted repeat customers
We had a John Lewis branded F&P Dishdrawer which lasted over 13 years, we then replaced with a different brand of conventional dishwasher. We immediately regretted saving a few hundred pounds for a much inferior and less convenient machine. We have now replaced this with this new F&P and are once more very pleased. No more pots cluttering the kitchen waiting for a dishwasher to finish, and as there are only 2 of us now, we find the smaller drawer system much better than filling a full sized conventional machine. Very quiet and even on Eco very effective, we rarely need to use more intensive cycles. Hopefully will prove as reliable as our last Dishdrawer.

Great product shame about the kick plate
Great equipment very contemporary the only thing thats a disappointed is the toe kick
