Mr Witten-Hannah was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in December 2019 and has been a Director of Fisher & Paykel Appliances since August 2018. Mr Witten-Hannah joined Fisher & Paykel Appliances in 1995 and has extensive experience in various leadership and senior executive positions within the company, including Executive VP Product Development, Executive VP Marketing & Digital and, Chief Operating Officer. During secondment to the United Kingdom, Mr Witten-Hannah oversaw the development and implementation of Fisher & Paykel's UK and Ireland business strategy to provide an integrated consumer experience as the business expanded into the European market. Mr Witten-Hannah holds a BE (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Auckland University.
Michael was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Fisher & Paykel Appliances in October 2020, following a 30 year career in CFO and CEO roles across a diverse range of industry sectors. Michael has a proven track record in change management, strategic guidance and delivery of sustainable financial outcomes through long-term planning in C-suite roles for NZ Post, Yellow, Radius Heath Group, Mainzeal, and Auckland District Health Board among others. As an accounting professional, Michael brings many years of strong financial experience and business development expertise to Fisher & Paykel Appliances. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Auckland University and is a Chartered Accountant.
Thomas joined Fisher & Paykel Appliances in February 2016 as Global Supply Planning Manager. In August 2018, he was appointed to the Executive Team, initially leading Supply Chain and Procurement. In 2026, he became Chief Operations Officer. Thomas brings more than 20 years’ experience in global supply chain management, spanning distribution, sourcing, planning, manufacturing and operational transformation. Before joining Fisher & Paykel, he held senior leadership roles in Europe and China with global medical device companies, where his responsibilities included implementing global planning systems and processes, redesigning supply chain functions, and optimising distribution and manufacturing networks. As Chief Operations Officer, Thomas leads all operational activities of the business across Supply Chain, Indirect Procurement, Sales Operations and After-Sales Service, helping ensure Fisher & Paykel has the resilience, efficiency and scale required to support long-term growth and deliver to the standards expected of the brand. Thomas holds a Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management from Copenhagen Business School.
A transformational leader with broad expertise across marketing, retail and eCommerce, Katrina was appointed to the Fisher & Paykel Appliances Executive Team in 2022 as Executive Vice President – Product Lines. In 2026, she was appointed Chief Marketing & Product Management Officer. Before joining Fisher & Paykel in 2018, Katrina built an accomplished career in leadership roles across a number of premium global brands. She brings a deep understanding of product strategy, customer experience and commercial leadership to the Executive Team. As Chief Marketing & Product Management Officer, Katrina leads the global strategic direction of Fisher & Paykel’s value proposition – from what Fisher & Paykel creates to how it is experienced and understood in market. Her role spans product management, marketing and customer experience, with a focus on delivering profitable sector growth and ensuring the brand is expressed clearly and consistently across every touchpoint. Katrina holds a Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) from the University of Auckland.
Kane was appointed Executive Vice President Carbon Zero Transition and Research & Development in June 2023. Prior to this Kane was Executive Vice President Product Development leading the Fisher & Paykel Appliances Global Product Develpment teams based in New Zealand and China. Throughout his career at Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Kane has held a variety of Product Development Senior Leadership roles. As Chief Engineer Laundry and Refrigeration and General Manager Product Development Kane has worked closely with the Haier Group to develop and maximise new technology and synergies between our two companies. Before joining Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Kane also worked in a number of senior product development roles in New Zealand. Kane holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (First Class Hons.) from the University of Canterbury and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business from the University of Auckland.
Simon was appointed Executive Vice President Design & Brand in 2026. With 25 years’ experience in industrial design, product development and brand, he brings deep expertise in connected products, premium customer experiences and leading global design teams. Before joining Fisher & Paykel, Simon held senior and strategic design leadership roles across global technology businesses, design consultancies and early-stage ventures in international markets, including the United Kingdom, China, Finland and the United States. His experience spans connected device ecosystems, integrated hardware and software experiences, and mobile technology. Simon is responsible for all aspects of design across the organisation, including industrial design, spatial design and global brand, ensuring Fisher & Paykel’s unique design philosophy is reflected consistently across every customer touchpoint worldwide. He holds a Bachelor of Design with Honours from Victoria University of Wellington.
Following more than two decades at Fisher & Paykel in a range of senior leadership roles, Shane was appointed to the Executive Team in 2023 as Executive Vice President for Product Development. Shane joined Fisher & Paykel as a Product Development Engineer, working his way to the position of Group Chief Engineer. In 2018, Shane was appointed to the position of VP of Product in Costa Mesa, California, before returning to New Zealand as General Manager for DCS Outdoor & HVAC, and General Manager for Cooking Product Development. Shane has been involved in the development of several of Fisher & Paykel's flagship appliances, most notably leading the ground up development of the Columns refrigeration platform which was key in accelerating the brand's drive into the luxury premium appliance segment globally. His deep product knowledge and ability to translate complex customer insights into innovative design solutions are at the heart of our product design. Shane holds a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Auckland.
Rudi joined Fisher & Paykel Appliances in February 2009 as a Financial Controller, before assuming his current role on Fisher & Paykel's Executive Team in August 2019. As Chief Digital Officer, Rudi is responsible for accelerating our understanding and adoption of technological advances, leading a business unit dedicated to driving our end–to–end digital transformation forward. Prior to this he was Executive Vice President of Marketing & Digital Transformation. Throughout his career at Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Rudi has held a variety of senior leadership roles, including as Regional CFO Australia, General Manager of Customer Experience, and General Manager of Sales Operations. Rudi holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & eCommerce, Masters of Business Administration and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.
Andrew joined the Fisher & Paykel Executive Team in 2013 following a career in the business spanning more than 25 years. Previous roles within the company include manufacturing support positions in Australia and New Zealand, followed by a move to Information Technology in 1997 and appointment as Vice President Information Technology in 2002. In 2009, Andrew assumed responsibility for global supply chain as Vice President Supply Chain Management. In 2026, he was appointed Executive Vice President, Manufacturing, Production Engineering & Quality, with responsibility for the strategic integration of production engineering and quality across the business, ensuring Fisher & Paykel’s products are developed for production at scale, manufactured with consistency and delivered to the standards expected of the brand. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Auckland.
Duncan joined Fisher & Paykel Appliances in October 2019 as Executive Vice President People & Capability. Prior to joining Fisher & Paykel Appliance Duncan has worked for a number of multinational companies including Fletcher Building and Deloitte. He has extensive international experience in senior leadership roles across New Zealand, Australia, Europe, Asia and North America. In these roles Duncan has partnered with leaders to drive cultural transformation and business performance through the leadership of commercially driven people strategies and initiatives. Duncan holds a Bachelor of Management Studies from the University of Waikato.
With more than a decade in executive roles at Fisher & Paykel, Matt brings broad commercial, financial and strategic leadership experience to his role. Before joining Fisher & Paykel, Matt worked in corporate finance and investment banking. Since joining the company, he has held Executive Team leadership roles that include Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President with responsibility for supply chain, logistics and procurement, group strategy and planning, investor relations and more. Today, Matt leads the commercial growth of a strategically important part of the business as Fisher & Paykel broadens its offer from individual products to integrated whole of home energy and comfort solutions. His responsibility includes leading the whole of home design solutions focused on low carbon homes and growing home and commercial HVAC, Solar and hot water business lines across Australia and New Zealand. His role spans strategy, go-to-market planning and execution, partnerships and overall growth performance, helping shape new long-term growth opportunities for the company. Matt holds a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours, Combined) in Finance and Accounting from the University of Otago.
Having previously spent six years with Fisher & Paykel in our head office in Auckland, Roy Liu returned to Fisher & Paykel and the Executive team in 2022, following several years in senior roles within the Haier Group. Roy joined Haier in 2006, holding senior roles in sales, marketing, supply chain, product management and synergy operation in Southeast Asia, Australasia, and the USA. His significant expertise and knowledge of our industry continue to be an asset to Fisher & Paykel as Executive Vice President. Roy holds a Bachelor of Management Studies from the Tianjin University.
Rebecca joined Fisher & Paykel Appliances as General Counsel in 2004. While at the company, she has been President of the Corporate Lawyers Association of New Zealand and a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the International Bar Association. Early in her career, she worked for top tier law firms in New Zealand and Australia, before becoming General Counsel of Australian Associated Press. Her career has focused on international corporate projects, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property. She has played a prominent role in many corporate transactions including the acquisitions of DCS, Inc. (USA), Elba Spa (Italy) and Maytag Mexico and the divestment of PML NZ in 2017. She has also been involved in a number of significant international intellectual property licencing transactions. Rebecca holds Bachelor of Arts and LLB (Hons) degrees from the University of Auckland.
