Does an excellent job of washing and drying
This is a brilliant piece of kit. For a two or three person household each drawer holds a couple of days of cutlery and crockery, is economic to use and very quiet in our open plan property. Oh and it also gives and excellent clean even on our silver edged dinner service.

Bought this for our new kitchen. Our previous FP dishwasher lasted over 20 years. We're hoping this one is as good. So far very pleased and impressed by the changes.

Finally a dishwasher designed for modern life
It's taken some time to find this dishwasher but I can finally say it is perfect for us. Not only is it well designed and functionally lovely to use, having two dishwashers in a single appliance form factor makes it easy to have the "two dishwasher kitchen" idea without using twice the space, and the drawer design is genius, especially if you have dogs. You'll instantly appreciate that dogs can no longer decide to help with washing up whilst you load or unload dishes. I have beagles so you can imagine the torture with previous drop-down door designs. This has instantly made me love doing the dishes again. It's also well made and even though I had a minor issue with one of the drawer pumps, the Fisher and Paykel tech support was amazing. My only gripe being that I wish they'd given me a little more freedom to attempt self-service before calling out an engineer, because it turned out the problem was 2 minutes to fix and was just a little bit of grit stuck in a compartment that was super easy to clear.

Series 9 Integrated - excellent but design issues
This is the text I sent to customer.feedback@fisherpaykel.com on 29/11/24 (no reply received): "I installed a new F & P DD60DDFHX9 dishwasher a few days ago s/n BAV453977 and registered the warranty yesterday. This unit replaces the series 7 version, which we have had without issues for the past 12 years.
I called this morning with a query on the warranty and the lady I spoke with provided this email address to provide feedback:
1. Firstly, I appreciate the ease of being able to reach your customer services people and I have found them very helpful, thank you.
2. I called on the warranty because it is unclear if it is 2 years or 5 years. The warranty booklet provided with the dishwasher states 2 years but the website states 5 years. The confirmation of registration does not state anything about the warranty period. I requested that in future the registration confirmation should include the end date of the warranty (e.g. 21/11/2029 in my case). I also requested the format be changed so there is not a large black area, which is very ink wasteful if printing, which most people will want to.
3. It was extremely difficult to fix the 2 on each side fixing brackets. I followed method A as recommended and although it would have been easier if I’d removed the drawer, I did not want to risk this and it is not recommended. I have been in touch with the kitchen installer/manufacturer who originally installed our first dishwasher and he agrees with me. It is very difficult and fiddly to insert and screw in the fixing screws and, moreover, to drill a pilot hole square because even a small chuck fouls on the frame. For future customers please give consideration to modifying for a better method of securing the unit.
4. The tone when using the ‘DELAY START’ is barely audible. On the original Series 7 the pulse sound was much louder and easy to hear. Although in general I like that display features are now concealed within the dishwasher, the difficulty of hearing the delay start tone is a disappointing feature. I presume this cannot be altered through a setting?"

Our second purchase of the beautiful double draw
We have just bought our second double draw dishwasher it replaces the 15 year old one we have just updated Brilliant new edition to the house another fifteen year of shiny plates !!!
